School Education

This role gives you a chance to work at one of our Azim Premji Schools. Our schools are an integral part of our vision to improve K-12 education and work towards providing quality education with an emphasis on instilling constitutional values through teaching-learning practices both within and beyond the classroom. Our schools are located in 11 districts across 5 states— Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand.

The focus of this role will be:

• Facilitate learning for children from diverse backgrounds, interests and abilities through participative classroom processes
• Encourage active discovery and independent learning
• Develop curriculum and content based on the context of the children
• Develop curricular plan and achieve curricular objectives for each child
• Engage with community and parents to ensure their participation in school processes

Eligibility:

• For Pre-Primary: Graduation along with NTT/Montessori or equivalent teacher training course.
• For Primary: Graduation along with D.Ed/D.El.Ed./B.Ed
• For Upper Primary teachers: Graduation in the relevant subject along with B.Ed. is required
• For Secondary and Higher Secondary teachers: Master's degree in a relevant subject along with B.Ed
• Proficiency in English coupled with local language Hindi/Kannada
• A minimum of two years' teaching experience
