Employment, income, dignity – we work to connect the dots in this area of human development and wellbeing

Our work in Livelihoods is geared towards promoting livelihood opportunities for some of India's most vulnerable and marginalised people. We took our first steps under Livelihoods in the country's central tribal belt, in Raigarh and Gumla districts of Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand respectively.

We are looking for people to join us as Gram Panchayat Facilitators, Cluster Coordinators and Resource Persons. An ideal candidate should have:

  • An understanding of the needs and scope of livelihood interventions in the area.

  • Work experience with local partners/community and an ability to establish community connections in the villages and provide programmatic support.

  • Ability to enable better access to government welfare schemes and development programmes.

  • Ability to drive effective implementation of livelihood programmes in the villages.

Qualifications and experience

The candidate should have relevant experience in community work, ideally in Livelihoods / Rural Development / Watershed Development.

  • For Cluster Coordinators: Postgraduate degree in Agriculture / Rural Management / Rural Development / Social Work

  • For Gram Panchayat Facilitators: Graduate degree in any discipline with work experience in relevant area

  • Fluency in Hindi and English
