Job Description:

The Resource Person – Operations will own and drive scholarship application processing operations of an assigned sub-vertical within Scholarship Program Team. The role involves assessing applications as per the eligibility criteria, using data to identify process bottlenecks, identify patterns to improve operational efficiency, while ensuring consistent and high-quality execution at scale.


The Resource Person will also guide the support team aligned to them in adhering to established SOPs and may be required to travel periodically to relevant regions to understand the education system and challenges faced by girl students in accessing education.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and drive core scholarship application processing operations for the assigned sub-vertical using in-house developed Scholarship Management System; ensure consistent, accurate, and high-quality execution of operations at scale
  2. Assess scholarship applications in line with defined eligibility criteria and process guidelines
  3. Use data and process insights to identify operational bottlenecks, analyse patterns, and improve process efficiency
  4. Guide and support the aligned support team in adhering to established SOPs and operational processes
  5. Coordinate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth and timely processing of applications
  6. Travel periodically to relevant regions to understand the education ecosystem and challenges faced by girl students in accessing education


Qualification and Experience:

  1. Undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized institution
  2. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in development sector, banking, BPO, education, hospitality or similar operational environments


Technical Skills & Tools:

  1. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, filtering, and reporting
  2. Ability to manage and process large volumes of data with high accuracy and attention to detail
  3. Familiarity with MIS reporting and operational dashboards
  4. Ability to analyse operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and process improvement opportunities
  5. Comfort with digital communication and collaboration tools such as email, spreadsheets, and task management platforms


Skills and Attributes:

  1. Strong ownership and ability to manage large-scale operational workflows within defined timelines
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify process gaps and improve efficiency
  3. High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while handling large volumes of work
  4. Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment and ensure adherence to SOPs
  5. Ability to guide and support team members in completing assigned tasks on time
  6. Effective communication and coordination skills for working with cross-functional and support teams
  7. Adaptability and willingness to learn and work with evolving systems and processes
  8. Sensitivity towards issues related to education and access to opportunities for students
  9. Willingness to travel periodically to understand ground realities
